Kylie Jenner Skips Paris Fashion Week Due to Apparent Sickness

Kylie Jenner won’t be at Paris Fashion Week this season after all.
The Kylie Cosmetics entrepreneur was expected to attend the Balmain show, as she was named the artistic director for makeup at the show and collaborated with Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing on a capsule makeup collection, which WWD exclusively reported earlier this week. Those plans have since changed, as Jenner revealed on Twitter that she would no longer be attending the show due to an apparent sickness.
“Unfortunately, I’m really sick and unable to travel,” wrote Jenner in a note shared to Twitter this afternoon. “I’m heartbroken to be missing this show, but I know that my amazing team, and my friends who are in town for the event, will help me be there in spirit.”

Jenner and Balmain’s joint collaboration consists of lip color, eye shadow and accessories that incorporate makeup. It is slated to launch online on Sept. 27, to coincide with the Balmain show. Jenner was previously expected to attend a party at the Balmain store in celebration of the collaboration.
