American Eagle Outfitters has shuttered its Union Square store, which was converted to an experiential AE Studio store on the company’s 40th anniversary in 2017.

The company sent out an e-mail to customers on Thursday saying: “The Union Square AE store is closing, but we’ve got you covered.” It directed shoppers to other nearby stores including the SoHo unit at 599 Broadway and 40 W. 34th Street.
